Woo, well chuffed. Got this http://www.network54.com/Forum/thread?forumid=15639&messageid=1116523553&lp=1117147521

Had it delivered today. Dead easy to fit and no problems at all. Height, width and look are all spot on.

Great thing is, you see no chrome (I'm not a chrome fan) and it feels nice :)

Dunno where the problems are with other installations (J had problems) - none of that here. Shape is the same as what I took off.

All in all, I'm a happy bunny :)

Looks great, glad it fitted fine. Definitley a good buy then.

It looks alittle high up when i had mine and had to cut afew inches off the gear stick to make it look alright.

Is it possible for a part number and i'll check it with the one i had on my old bravo as i still have the box.

Joske

Looks nice , i see he took a while to get it to you ( as me ) , but well worth it :)

How did it cost £30 inc delivery? It cost £27 to buy and EUR 25 to send to Great Britain? Thats another £17 - £18 postage?

Looks nice. Might have to get one myself. I think I would cut a few inches off the stick is a bit long really.

Couldn't i just use my existing leather gator/surround. Can you get the gear knob on its own.

Don't think you'll be able to use it with yur existing gaiter , when you install it you slide the gaiter on then put the gear knob on and do up on the shaft with the 3 grub srews and then you screw the gaiter to the knob ( all makes sense when you see the pictures ?! ) .

Mine cost £27.25 plus 12 euro p&p , not bad seeing as theres one on ebay at the moment for £26 with over 4 days left and 3.50 p&p

Although it looks higher than normal gear knobs, its not. Infact, its lower!

Installation is:.... simply yank the existing knob off. Stick rubber cap on top of lever. Place gaitor over the lever. Place the grub screws into the knob. Whack the knob onto the lever. Tighten grub screws. Screw on the gaitor to the thread on the bottom of the knob. Clip in gaitor to the console. Bob's ya mother's brother.

I paid 11 euros delivery. Think the whole lot came to just about £35, give or take a few pennies.

I'll have a look at the part number later Joske and let you know.

Right, I'm guessing someone who frequents this forum is selling a leather gear knob and gaitor - how do I know? You're using MY PICTURE of MY CAR with MY GEAR KNOB. To matters worse, you've rubbed out my website address!

You havn't asked either! I don't know who it is, but come on man... don't be so damn cheeky! I don't my pictures being used but I would appreciate being asked first!

Remove the picture now please. I'm not a happy bunny :(

I post the pictures here so that fellow BOO members/non members can see what I've done, etc. Not for the pictures to be mutilated for money gaining purposes!
