hi, am rideing on 17's with a 40mm drop on gmax springs, standard shocks. Would putting on uprated front and rear shocks help with the ride??
any help

When were the shocks last changed?

If your not sure, how old is the car?

Matching the shocks to the springs can help

Gmax have a rep for being a bit poo, but they are the cheapest i suppose. Eibach progressive springs are much better but only lower 33mm and cost 160 ish.

Lightweight 17's will make a difference too.

Had the shocks changed when the springs were put in, bout a year now. great for cornering but just so damn bumpy.

'Uprated' shocks usually means they are stiffer and hence more bumpy.
