Auto colsing passenger window

Hi all

I'm just thinking, is it easy to put auto closure on the passenger window and the sunroof of my bravo? it's already got auto closure on the drivers door. it's so i can use the total closure feature on my alarm (really just to be a poser!!)

Also both my electric windows make a loud squeek (sometimes) about half way down. i've tried soaking everything I can with WD40 but it seems to be coming from somewhere around the morot mechanism! the mechanism seems to be quite powerful so I really dont want to replace the motors if I can help it, but i have the noise it makes... HELP PLEASE

it should have it on all the windows mate... your alarm is at fault i think. mine closes everything, including the sunroof...

Well the alarm in the bravo doesn't work at the moment anyway, But I meant I want to install a new alarm and use the auto closure that comes as standard on bravo's drivers windoes, on the passenger (and the sunroof if possible) if it's easy to do?

its part of the alarm system. it gets linked into lots of different things. with my clifford, all i have to do is switch on the alarm, and it closes everything up thats been left open.

i read this and had to rush outside to my hgt opened window got out pressed alarm/cl button but it didnt work is it supose to on standard fiat alarm?????????

I mean that when you have the car running and you hold down the drivers window switch for a second and let go, it will continue to open the window. I wanted to know if it's easy to make the passenger window do this or it's it not worth bothering about??

Think theres a section on the running guide here but i wind the windows down and then spray silcon spray ( wd40 not the best for this ) on the vertical guides front n rear , start from top and work down and then when at the bottom hold the spray for a couple of secs and let it get right down , work the window a good few times and if really bad repeat after a couple of days

Basically Andy is on about the one touch Window function the drivers door has.

On my previous Bravo 115 HLX the drivers door had one touch the passengers window only went up aslong as you kept your finger on the switch.

But....

I now have a 2001 Bravo JTD HLX and it has one touch windows on both sides. I dunno if Fiat added anything to the newer cars to have this function added to both sides?

oh sry .yes mine does that but i dont know about passenger side as its real sticky and sometimes needs a helping hand to close. i thought u where talking about that real posey feature what locks and closes all windows by keyfob.......that would be real nice;]

maybe they just changed the crontrol box which if I know in a lot of Fiats is just a big relay looking thing that plugs in near the fuses! has anyone any idea if this is the case?? or am i dreaming if i think it's going to be so easy...

Sorry ppl, I am sort of talking about both, because with some after market alarms have a built in function to close windows but only if the windows will do the 'one touch thing' more expensive alarms have the whole thing built in to do that for you, but are out of my price range. first step is the one touch open and close using the buttons, but with the use of relays and if you used the central locking trigger wire anyone with the factory fitted fiat alarm could use the one touch closure to close the windows when the car is locked using the alarm fob or the key in the door lock!

i get you now. i thought u meant the posey expensive alarm. thats what was on mine when i bought it. struck gold there i guess
