I have just got 644 miles out of a tank of diesel in my JTD. Normal driving 70-80 on the motorway and quite a bit of town driving. I use Shell diesel. It also happens to be the cheapest around here. When I last filled up it was 82.9 a litre. Oh and Nige has remapped it.

Was wondering what others' fuel consumption has been with diesel?

Yep diesel in Peterborough is 90p at the mo, apparantly we are 1 of the furthest citys away from any depo in any direction, so costs more to transport. surely there trucks must get cheap fuel lol

My JTD does 100 miles to £10 @ 86.9p per leter.

That driving like a stole it tho EVERYEHER!

So its as ecomical as my 1.3skoda... just shed loads faster!

But as I told ash.. who cares about MPG when you have the biggest smile in the world!!

fuel efficiency

Does no one have any fuel efficiency of their JTD to share? Nige?

I didn't say it was now 82.9, but was this figure when I last filled up. This gives an indication of how frugal the engine is. I filled up this morning with it costing 87.9p/litre.

its about 120miles to £10... so close to 50MPG
