I've recently swapped my normal wheels with HGT alloys (on a 1.4), and the car pulls to the left, does this mean I need the tracking done. What does balancing the wheels mean? do i need that done as well?

How badly is it pulling to the left? Does the steering wheel vibrate at higher speeds?

If you need your wheels balanced, take it to your local garage. Should cost a couple of quid tops!

sounds like what happened with mine. your local garage will balance the wheels, it'll feel like a different car

Get the tracking done.

quickfit type places will check it for free and then charge around £25 if it needs altering. Problem i found with my old car was one quickfit told me it was ok, the next told me it was 3mm out :/
