When starting car on cold mornings
Car turns over comes to life but then dies shortly afterwards.
If you apply just a tiny amount of "gas" whilst starting there's no problem.
Anyone had this?
I'm assuming its some connection problem or the ecu isn't giving quite enough petrol for starting on cold mornings so the "cold" kills off the burning of petrol.
I have a 98s 1.8hlx bravo 70k on the clock, going in for its 2/3 year service on 25th feb.
This happened a few times last winter but much morew this winter, does say in Haynes could be spark plugs being fooked (getting done in service). Also mentions looking for fault codes in ECU.
