Please Help!
I've got a Bravo 1.8hlx and recently I installed a sony Head unit, cd changer and speakers and connected a new battery. Since then I've been having electrical difficulties!

When i brake, indicate, turn headlights on,turn the heater on etc. my stereo keeps going off, dipped lights fade when I brake and sometimes i get trouble starting the car, the battery indication on the dash seems to be lit slightly to start with but eventually fades out and sometimes the (ABS) light comes on when I brake and stays on until I turn the ignition off!

Could this be a problem with the battery connection or a fault with the wiring of my Aftermarket stereo? Anyone know?

Also the passenger electric window is really slow!

Any suggestions on these problems?

Cheers

If ur trouble started after this, try checkin 4 a loose battery lead,
pos and neg,
also follow the neg off the battery to th ecars subframe and check its still a good tight connection

DONT WORK FOR THE CO-OP THEY DONT PAY PERIOD!

Yup, sounds like a deeply dodgey connection or the battery is ****ed.

Checked the battery terminals, they were a tight fit to the battery, however the positive terminal is in a pretty bad way! I tightened one of the two bolts on the psitive terminal and it seems to have sorted the problem.
Probably would be a good idea to get new terminals fitted!

Any suggestions on the slow passenger eleectric window? Probably requires a new motor eh?

"Any suggestions on the slow passenger eleectric window?"

Are you using the drivers side switch?
Try the passenger door switch, it should be quicker. If it is there is probably no problem.
I think it was Tom who said it is to do with the distance from one to tother (length of the wire)
