I bought new bosch super 4 spark plugs for 99p off ebay! The gap is 0.85mm is this correct as iv read that it should be 0.8, if this 0.05 makes a difference???
check the number on them matches your cars requirements. it'll be in the manual, or the bravo-guide. If so, then that 0.05mm, or 0.0005metre gap wont matter, as the spark plug will be designed to work that way. make sure they are all the same though, because it IS possible, afaik, for the gap to be made incorrect by say, dropping it.
Im sure someone can help but i had heard they were good too but only got them coz they were cheap. There doesnt appear to be anything wrong with the present ones but i figured after 24k they should be changed, is this ok? The product no. is YR7DE, which I cant find anywhere on the net, im beginning to get a bit suspicious...
Bosh super4 are good, ignore the **** like splitfire, they might have been good 15 years ago but they have not updated them and they are not good in 16v engines.
