Fiat Stilo - Schumacher Edition

Just read in the Sun (motors section) that Fiat are releasing a 'Special Edition Michael Schumacher Stilo'. Only 3,500 will be made and engines will be 2.4 petrol or 1.9 TD.

Anyone else heard this?

I've not heard this before so if this is old news just tell me to shut up!

theres so little info about the car in that statement its not worth thinking about.

If it's the same as they did with the Seicento Schumacher Edition then it's gonna be with full Abarth Kit, Abarth wheels, Schumacher stickers (his signature), and a load of extra trim bits like gear stick, handbrake cover etc. etc. I think the Seicento one they only did in Yellow as well.

Ahhhh, now I see....

Fiat will be doing two special editions of the Stilo, The Stilo "Racing" and the Stilo M.Schumacher, the latter being to celebrate Schumachers success with Ferrari in F1 and only available in Ferrari Red.

First up the Stilo "Racing", not sure if black is the only colour, but it is in the publicity shots:

It will be available with the 95 bhp 1.4, or the 140 bhp 1.6 MultiJet (diesel?), NOT the 105 bhp 1.6 or 115 bhp 1.9 JTD
Standard Equipment will be Air Con, Steering Remote CD, "Racing" Logos, skirts, rear spoiler, sport pedals and 17" Rims

Right, then The Stilo M.Schumacher

This will be avilable ONLY in Ferrari's F1 Red, and comes with; Zender body kit including front bumper, rear bumper, skirts, and rear spoiler, with the Abarth 17" Rims, the interior also gets a sports makeover with door trims, seats, pedals etc. and special logos

Engine wise they are apparently sport versions of current engines, with a choice of the 2.4 20v giving 170bhp and the 19 MultiJet Diesel giving 140 bhp

They are making 3500 Stilo M.Schumacher Edition's in total Worldwide.

I didn't know it wouldn't, all the info I found was from a French car website, with some bits from a Dutch site... the Racing edition is not a major loss though....
