I am having a few problems with my Bravo 1.6 16v SX (W reg).

1) Fuel injector light coming on and staying on whilst driving.
2) Car labouring when stationary.
3) Need to apply extra acceleration when moving off
4) Temperature gauge going to Maximum after a few miles.
5) No hot air blowing from heating when set at full temperature.

Can anyone please help ??????
Thanks

Head gasket sounds like its gone. no hot air caused by air lock from compression getting past the gasket.
Check condition of oil, smell the header tank for exhaust gases and traces of oil etc.
The symptons described generally all add up to head gasket failure.

poorly car

thanks graham......I guess that will be costing me a few quid to get fixed ?

Re: poorly car

Before assuming it is make sure you double check. Dont want to waste money....

Check the oil for foamy or white sludge deposits
Check for loss of coolant in the header tank
Smell header tank for fumes
Check for oil traces in header or generally just gone black
Check exhaust for condensation and spitting of water.
Does fan kick in?

If its gone ur probably looking at around £300. If you get it done, ensure new belt and tensioners are fitted to save doing it later or cam belt failure.

Re: poorly car

I will check that out first. I do know that I am not losing any coolant
