my HGT still isnt finished. Anyonewho remembers will probably be bored of this now. Just to remind you:

i took it to fiat who diagnosed the car and said it wont start because of a faulty cam phase sensor. I then took it to another garage to get the work carried out and it has now finally been finished, new cambelt and tensioners etc included. HOWEVER...it still wont start. word is that when the mechanic starts the car the ignition warning light comes on and stays on and it wont turn over. i cant help wondering why when fiat have diagnosed it and the recommended work has been carried out, the engine still doesnt start!?

in two days its going back to fiat for more. Just wondered if anyone has any idea what might be upset now???? mechanic thinks its either immobilisor or ignition (obviously) related.

If it wont turn over at all then its starter motor, starter relay or battery.

The immob only stops the engine from firing, not turning.

And the ignition warning light won't go out until the engine starts.

i just hope it doesnt need much money spending on it and doesnt take another month to fix only for another problem to arise.

some advice/info for current or future HGT owners alike:

1.dont crash it.
2.make sure you are fully comp.
3.if you do crash it, make sure its written off by the insurers.
4.be prepared to swallow your pride in your bravo/a (applies to all owners at all times).

my immob wont let it turn over full stop tom is that cosi got acat 1 alarm with 2 more immobs installed

i wanted a cat 1 to stop ppl stealing my car. funny that aint it . with the cat2 already there and the 2 installed with the alarm makes it a dam lot harder to steal. but it dont turn over was my point just wondering if it is my new alarm stopping it or maybe ur cat 2 is not working right..
