as above, I managed to get the rear drums de-rusted and covered in a nice matt black laquer, half of which ended up on my clothes, hands and driveway before the heavens opened and soaked me
My problem is, I took the front passenger wheel off to do the caliper and when I took a closer look there was a hairline crack on the disc brake from the outter edge going down towards the centre covering about 1/3 of the braking suface
this could of been there for weeks who knows, but I want to know is it something to worry about? can I still drive as normal and forget about it? Will I need new disks?
I'd prefer it if I didn't have to get new discs as I don't have the time or money to get some/fit them and plus MITCAR is coming up and I want to be able to go
Any help people? Tom?
