Hi guys,

I know this is not very important in the great scheme of things, but it's annoying nevertheless.

I have a 99 Mk 2 Brava with standard stereo unit supplied, however the digits on the display constantly fade so that it's hard to view the time/radio station/cd track number. When I run my finger over the glass panel, I'm able to see the digits as normal, if only for a short length of time, before it fades again. The digits don't actually disapper, it more like a series of number 1's across the display.

Any advice on rectifying this problem will be much appreciated.

It's the heat mate. Mine is doing exactly the same and only ever does is it in the summer.
