I have owned my Bravo for about a week (Mk2 115HLX V reg). Been looking for a while and found a nice one in Reflex Green, its a bit of a change from my old 1.1 Punto.

It's a great car but it seems to have developed a strange problem which has been really noticable today; Its performing slugishly (esp. acceleration) and the accelerator pedal has become abnormally heavy.

None of the warning lights are coming on (inc. injector light) and sometimes it momentarily idles at around 1500rpm as if the choke is on.

The car is still driveable and the engine sounds OK. Just wondering if anybody has experienced a similar thing or knows what the problem could be?

My guess would be worn throttle cable, might be worth taking it to a garage for a quick once over.

Hey Marc, welcome to the boo/a! I recently changed from a 1.1 punto to a bravo 1.8 HLX too - such a difference aint it!
