Hi,
I'm kinda stuck. I'd like to squeeze more power from my newly aquired Brava TD100 SX. I'm considering increasing the boost from the turbo in addition to helping it breathe better with an induction kit and exhaust system but still not sure and tuning stuff for this varient seems rare. Can anyone provide any ideas, advice or places where I can get tuning parts for this engine?

forget the induction kit or exhaust there will be little gain for the loads you'll spend. Go to Allards website for mechanical diesel pump tuning. Based in Monmouth. they're very knowledgable and can do a module to alter the fuelling to the diesel pump and timing increasing power and torque by as much as 25-30%. They do mainly Peugeot, VW and Land Rover but can do other mechanical turbo diesels as well. They did my pug TD with amazing results.

Wow was looking for a JTD having heard about the amasing performance u can get with ECU remapping but they're ridiculously rare.

So this diesel pump tuning means u cud get a TD100 up to 125 - 130bhp (in theory quicker than my current 1.8HLX)?

How much would this cost? and would it affect insurance and MPG?

td tuning

Allan Allard did a great job on my Pug Stdt. Unfortunately it was stolen in March. AA advertises in Diesel Car magazine.

Td is a mechanical diesel pump so does not have the capability of remapping as does the Jtd. Still very lively though.
