Both door handles on the left hand side are perishing, and bits are falling off leaving a gap between the handle and the bodywork - can I fill this, or do I need to replace them?
Mine packed in halfway across as well, but a few days later it seemed to fix itself, parked normally & worked fine.
I've had that type of intermmitent fault with other things on the car. The latest is the temp guage shows overheating (very top of scale) while driving but if I stop the engine the guage reads the correct temp in the centre of the guage.
Bloody Fiats.
regarding the temp gauge, when it does that give it a tap above where it is on the dash and it will go back to normal. its a dodgy connection/bad connection on the back of the dials I believe and it will sort it.
A few ppl have had this problem
get me some whilst your there, dealers are a pain in the arse, you can't order a part over the phone, you have to go in, order it, then chase them for a week, then go and pick it up. and they onle open 9-5 mon-fri if that!!! grrr.
You can also get them from Audi, they cost £200 each and are very dull. BMW can also supply bravo handles, they cost £400 and are very plasticy and will drop off within 6 months.
Now there's an idea. Whilst I'm getting some pine handles I should deck out the lower part of the bodywork with some pine cladding for that typical 80's American Station-Wagon look.
