HELP HELP HELP

got a problem and its drivin me up the bloody wall !!!!

when i change gear in 1st and 2nd my cars makin a bloody racket and judders like a bloody god knows what........ but its only in these 2 gears after im outta 2nd its fine.
is this a common problem or does anyone know what it could be??....... i love my car but god this is makin me want to give it the boot !!! hhhhhhelp please
oh just in case u need to know mines brave 1.6 16v 100 model

It's your clutch
Get it seen to A.S.A.P.
if it shatters it might take a chunk out of the box and maybe even the starter motor.
I got mine done about a month ago (also a 1.6) at Kwik Fit and payed £165 for the clutch
It cost me a good bit more due to the damage the cluth breaking up did so if you can get it replaced soon and save yourself some dosh.

could be a load of different things.
I have this on my 1.2 sx.
It could be a clutch problem or worst case scenario it will be 2nd gear syncromesh.

As i said i got my clutch done about a month ago
and it was the same, juddered and jumped like buggery in 1st and 2nd.
All other gears were as smooth as silk.
When i saw the clutch plate it was in 2 halfs, got the new one fitted along with a new flywheel.
And now it's back to smoth as silk in all gears.
Lets not panic the guy till he's had it checked out.
I still recon it's his clutch.

get it seen to quick, this happened on my 1.4 sx and i thought oh **** it, it don't matter. ended up wrecking the gearbox and clutch. cost me 600 quid to get new ones. rip off, my car only cost 1500.
thats a 1.4 for you though, lol

I had a simular problem, fist my clutch went, I got that replaced then a month later I heard a ratteling noise it was too late, the next thing the car wouldn't move and the gear box had been shatterd somehow, cost me £75 for a Punto gear box and £125 to fit it.

well i am off to pick me car up from fiat after the stress of thinking the worst case sceniro ... COULD IT BE MY GEAR BOX COULD IT BE MY SNCRO COULD IT BE..... you get the idea but nope it was the clutch Thank god! eh

well i had the same symoptoms it just appeard over night which i thought was strange 1st n 2nd didnt work properly i had to really put a bit of effort into it then 3rd and 4th started,it judderd loads when pulling of in 1st giving me reason to think it was the dif which is a bugger as i drive miles to work,,,, motorway driving and with all the bleedin comapny car drivers( only applies to bmw and audi drivers) flying up ya ass while you change gear very annoying n e way got side tracked there,,,, i would say its the clucth as well,

Hi guys, sorry to butt in.

When driving today, i noticed on a couple of occasions a small vibration through the clutch pedel when engaging the clutch. It didn't happen on the journey home, but it just felt like someone had knocked the pedal.

Is the clutch on it's way out? I wouldn't have thought so during the normal use of it. Seems fine otherwise.

my clutch pedal doesn't come all the way back up after pressing it in that's what ya want
