I'm getting a mild bunny-hopping/kangarooing problem with my 1996 Brava 1.6sx (55k on the clock). I changed the spark plugs and HT leads but - although the car runs better - this problem didn't change.
My garage is starting to scratch its head and say they may need to take it to Fiat and plug it into their computer; but am I really out of options ?? Is there nothing else basic to do or change ?? Non-Fiat tuners are quoting £100 ish to plug into their computer and (hopefully) diagnose ....
The problem isn't that bad (yet) but there is a distinct chugging from the engine at low revs in 1st or 2nd gear, lifting my foot from the gas tends to cause that, and starting the car in very cold temperatures was not much fun (major chugging until I gave it plenty of gas).
