Does anyone have a stereo adapter that actually fits snug into the hole?

All the pictures I see of other peoples cars looks like they have the same problem and that it sticks out very slightly, my mate has got a ford focus and his stereo adapter looks like it was made to measure whereas the brava one looks shite up close?

Has anyone glued theres in coz Im very tempted

Where did you get the adaptor from? The one from Halfords and most from elswhere just don't fit. Try http://autoaudioaccessories.co.uk/ for one that does and looks much better.

The halfords one does fit if you take some care. You need to shave down the underside of the two clips that hold the top of the facia in place.

i dont know if mine came from somewhere different, but i've bought two halfords ones and they fit fine? no modification?


they dont look great, but they do fit fine.


and you always break the clips trying to get it out!

I got one from audio accessories with the fake stereo front and I have tried an auto leads one from halfords they fit! but the middle always sticks up very slighty and totally looks like it shouldn't be there if you know what I mean

mine fits fine? i quite like the idea of looking like original stereo, but i think its obvious mine hasnt! lol
