Hello everyone!
(Just a semi-quick intro!)
After many months of looking at peoples comments and the like, i have decided to write in myself!
Not used to this kind of thing, so i hope this works.
I am 23, live in NW London and have been driving since June 2003 (yup, not long)- My first car was/is a 147 HGT and i absolutely love it. Never had a problem with it and love that engine note!

Thats about it really!

welcome aboard mate :)

check out www.bravo-guide.co.uk for events etc and any thing else you want to know about the italian stallion you have parked on your drive :)

got any pictures of your bravo ? have you done anything special ro it or is it still standard ?

Re: Re: New Guy!

Ah, cheers!

Other than a BMC carbon dynamic airbox and cat-back powerflow exhaust, it's pretty standard. Got a fair amount of ICE though. A right royal mix of alpine, rockford fosgate and audiobahn stuff!
Got a few pics, but not with me at work. Got a pretty nifty number plate too - M7 HGT!

Re: Re: Re: Re: New Guy!

Cheers guys.
It certainly has seemed pretty manic on the forum recently, but highly entertaining!
Does anyone know if there are fellow bravo owners around london/south east?
And did anyone from here go to southend on the weekend?!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: New Guy!

Nice choice of first car. Hope the insurance is OK!

Welcome aboard - Ian.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: New Guy!

The insurance is an utter pig. Just under 2k third party fire and theft.
The only reason i really wanted one was the chug it gives at about 3000RPM! Some guy near me has one and it makes the most gorgeous noise! So i just had to have one!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: New Guy!

welcome mate hope to see you at some meets in the future. whats the induction kit like does it make a difference i've bought the pipercross viper but waiting for it to be delivered???

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: New Guy!

welcome to the forum dude!

there's a few peeps on here who are from down there, i know that the 2 jay's mention southend a lot, and a lad called danny with a red bravo aswell, i'm sure they'll reply to this post when they see that you're from near them :)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: New Guy!

Yeah, the induction kit has certainly made a difference. I mean i had literally only been driving a month when i bought it, but i could tell the car revved better and more freely. And to top it off, i got the cat-back exhaust on the same day!
The fully closed systems like the viper and bmc won't give as good a noise as the opened coned ones (K&N etc) but are nicely protected from heat allowing denser air into the engine! (And thus more power)

And whoever ownes the white bravo with n111 or niii in the reistration, i saw it in southend on sat night!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: New Guy!

That car with N111NOY is Jay's who I met for the first time in sothend on saturday, If you saw a heraldic blue HGT tagging along behind that was mine :)
if you're ever going down that way drop us a note here and we can meet (a bit out of my way but hey I love driving)

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like grandpa, not screaming like the passengers in his car!

Welcome Dean

Welcome to the Forum Dean, I was supposed to go to Southend on Saturday and meet up with the other Jay, but had a bathroom plumming incident that kept me away (long story).

Thought I'd post a couple of pics of my 155 HGT anyway, as I registered my new plates today.

Re: Welcome Dean

Firstly i'd like to say many thanks to all of you for being so welcoming. I hope to meet as many of you as possible, as it'd be cool to meet fellow bravo owners!

@davidone - Got lots of pics, but forget to bring them in! And if i dont sell the bravo for the 20V turbo coupe, i was also thinking of getting some Dare 17's and dropping it by 40mm. Hopefully will be getting my audiobahn 18001DT amp soon (1800Watts RMS@1ohm & 3800 Watts Peak) so i can do a complete re-build of the boot!

@Jayfish - Def should meet up! Got a feeling i'll be down that way a tad more often, as my mates just got his saxo FULLY modded and it looks fantastic (that's who i was with last sat). So i'm sure he'll be wanting to go alot more too! Even though it is a bit of a way for me to get to.

@Wick. Jay - Nice plates! Excellent looking car. Love the colour and general phatness of an hgt! Also love my number plate but am trying to get a new front one. The way i want it done is apparantly illegal though. While my back plate has always read "M7 HGT", the front reads "M7HGT". Basically the front doesn't have the gap between words as the back does! Me trying to get the gap in the front is hard and will be considered a show plate. Big hairy balls.

Anyway, sorry for the extreme length of this mail.

Cheers again guys,
Dean
