Anybody know of a permanent live, i need one for my nokia car kit?

actually whilst i am on this subject has anybody fitted a nokia car kit in their bravo, if so where did they wire it too and got any pics of the install?

for a perm live, run a thick - ish fused cable from the battery (liek you would for an amp) but to around where the head unit is. while you are at it, you might as well replace the head unit's live feed with that one..or you can run a cable from the fuse box.

Mine had one when i bought the car but had it taken out as i didn't like it. As far as where it was connected i think it was to the radio power but im sure there are more power wires in there that you could connect it too.

what colour wire is the permanent live on the fiat radio loom?

I used the wireing going to the glove box light when I was wiring in my snooper, seemed to work OK and was easier to get to the actual wires than the stereo.

its either the red or yellow.
i think you need the yellow for perm live, check with a test meter to be sure.

HELP!

I'm right in the middle of a big (for me) install. Am trying to find the same wires so that my new HU will keep a live feed with the ignition off.
Can anyone tell me what I should be doing with which wires please?

does anybody know out of the three wires going into the ciggy lighter which one is the switched live.

black = EARTH
yellow (i think) = ?
White/blue (i think) = ?
