I've got a 1.8 HLX and wondered if theres any way to make the instrument panel lights blue??(speedo, rev counter etc). Would this be a simple case of changing the bulbs for blue ones or is it coloured plastic that makes the display green?

they are clear bulbs, with coloured filters.

Its green plastic stuff on the back of the dials. You can scrub it off or pick it off but be careful. Somebody on here has done it but cant remember who. But if you do it, then put a dark blue film behind, the guy who did it put a soft blue film behind and looked pants. Buy blue blubs or blue leds. There is a blue plasma you can buy and put in your lights.
