Not really, its more to stop noise. The 1.6 lacks torque anyway so you won't miss it.

thanks tom. i also think i found my s/s induction pipe... didnt need ur help in the end about the dimentions of urs, just got a couple of bit to work out then off to buy 1 :S

There are 5 welds on mine (4 on Jays) which is why they take so long. Cleaning the welds after takes hours and hours.

tom i have no intension to, i needed u to tell me ur opinion on the pipe also i thought i would of needed u to weld 1 thing on it but u dont need to i would love to show u
