If you pay the travel for angel tuning they will travel but try to get a few people together that way both parties are happy, your cost is kept down and angel get more work!
cheap student friends is one thing. try finding any average Fiat Bravo engine that is actually mappable. There is a long eager waiting list for Angel Tuning but unfortunately, we all have shite ECUs.
Okay I was wrong. Only the 1.2 16V and the 1.9 (105) JTD can be remapped by Nige. The TD75 and TD100 cannot, because they are not common rail diesels.
So two Engines out of the ten engines (includes mk2 series) can be remapped. Eight can't - Appauling! (I hope Nige reads this beacuse he needs to get cracking them ECU's!)
LOL - I wondered why you asked me those questions at 7 o'clock this morning Ian!
1. We do travel but depends on the car to be done and if you are willing to pay the travel costs. We are doing Belgium and Portugal this year
2. We aint ever going to do 1.4, 1.6 or 1.8 as the ECU cannot be written to PLEASE BELEIVE ME AND DONT ASK AGAIN!
3. The 2.0 HGT 155 should be able to be done, but no one in the UK has cracked it
4. You will be lucky to find a chip for the above list as the ECU's cannot be taken apart without destroying them - thats why we cant take them apart and put a writeable chip in!
5. Sooo we do 1242 16v and JTD only on the Bravo/a & Marea. For others, please see www.angeltuning.co.uk
He took me for a spin in it...we only went around my site, which has 10mph speed limits (We didnt stick to these of course ), and that was pretty hair raising!
I hadnt felt pull like that in a car, since i was 16 and sat in the passengers seat of a 260bhp Fiesta RS Turbo.
There is a thread like this on every forum where someone has been near me - is there something wrong with my driving
Both JTD's will be at the Feb bash - the 130 Punto and the Alfa with a new turbo and air flow sensor (a mere £1016!) so both will be available for demo
