Can anybody offer any advice? My 2000 1.6sx (82000miles) has just started hesitating/misfiring when pulling away at low speeds, generally at about 1500rpm. Other than that it's running fine. I'm guessing it might be HT leads or injector problems?? Can any of you experts shed any light? Thanks in advance, Levi

Re: Anybody..Tom...Nige...?

do you mean hesitating or juddering. The reason i ask is it seems to be a common thing for bravo clutches to judder as you set off when it's cold. I don't know if it is hesitating!

Re: Re: Anybody..Tom...Nige...?

Agreed, it might be the clutch.

Does the injection light ever come on? Failed injectors are easy to spot, your car runs like a dog ALL the time.

Don't think it's the clutch...

Thanks for the responses guys. I've experienced the clutch thing before especially when the car is cold. This doesn't feel like that...it's more of a misfire or splutter!

Thanks

Levi

Mine too

I have a 1.4SX 98 Bravo and it too is hesiating up to 2500rpm after that it runs as normal, I was also experiencing the misfiring. I changed the plugs and the misfiring went away but the hesiating is still there. could it be the Lamba sensor gone faulty

Re: Mine too

It will not be the lambda sensor, this is only used by the ECU to adjust the fuel during STEADY driving. ie. not when accelerating.

Your prob is most likely old worn and generally a bit bunged up injector.
