This kind of crime is rife at the moment.
My mate was one of the first to suffer it about 6 years ago.
My car keys are never within easy reach of any outside doors.
I always keep them in the aktnt nmjuutr. LOL

Mark.

Re: Re: Stolen

Some ****s attempted to nick my mums scooby came in the house and nick the keys to what they thort was the Porsche keys as it was parked behind the scooby. so they didnt get away with it. anyway the next day they came back as they took the keys for another attempt but we changed all the locks to the car and the house and guess what they got caught by our security guard. The 3 of them got 3 years for other offences they did aswell as ours. Just a happy ending to a shity story :)

Re: Re: Re: Stolen

i remember seeing a program on the t.v. which shown you how some car theives work.
all that they required is a cane with a hook attached to the end. then they hook the keys from a table in the hallway through the letterbox, it took them about 8 seconds!

after seeing that, i never left my keys in the hallway again. out of interest, how many of you leave your keys in such a place?
i'm no car theif, i'm just interested to know if we make it easy for the common crim.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Stolen

My keys are always on my bed side table or on the dining table, as the back door is always locked and the front has a yale lock so safe and sound, and as my Jack Russel is a vicious little bastid, no one sare enter lol! But scarily my mates Corsa key can open my bloody doors but the central locking won't work

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Stolen

Thanks Mark for the mail, thats exactly where i keep my keys lol. Thank you all for the replies. The owner found the car himself without the help of the law, after phoning the police to say he had found it he had to wait 2hrs for the police to show just to tell him he can't take the car away cause the want it for forensic and that he can pick it up from the impound yard when they've finished with it, they did'nt tell him though that he will be billed for this sevice.again thanks to all who replied.
