Im desperately after sum new discs n pads for my 1.8hlx, im not sure to go 4 the ones from fast fiat the balck diamond or for some ebc ones, can anyone tell me wot wud b my best option and any contacts (websites numbers. Ect...)

How much shud i b lookin to spend on a set of front discs n pads?? Im clueless on this one!! cheers!

I've been looking at pads and discs for my 1.8hlx and would love a set of EBC greenstuff pads and turbo groove discs. I've found the pads for about £45 but no one seems to do the discs for a 1.8hlx.

One thing i noticed was that the pads for the 1.8hlx are the same code as those for a 1.8 Barchetta, and I've seen turbo groove discs listed for a 1.8 Barchetta so would these fit the hlx?

If anyone has any info on the EBC stuff or can recommend a similar alternative i'd appreciate it. Need a change pretty soon as they were at 90% wear a month ago when i had my car serviced!!

Try red dot. I use them and they are good. Not as clean as EBC though.

Gave them a call and they were very helpful.

Ordering two front turbo groove discs and a set of greenstuff pads for my 1.8 Bravo and I should have them by next Wednesday.

Pads were £47 inc vat and the two front discs were £138.65 inc vat, with delivery at £11.75...so thats a total of £197.44.

Now its just a case of whether I've got the time and the energy to fit them myself or pay someone to do it!?!

I think I'll take the lazy way out!

They are a great bunch. Just called them for quotes on a set of prings for my car!
