Got into my car this afternoon turned on the fan and was covered in a shower of leaves & crap.

Popped into Mc Halfords on the way home and got a new filter (£15) took the plastic cover off under the wiper blade only to find a big hole and the fan but no where to fit the filter.

Got my money back for the filter and the guy said they are often removed them (or stopped fitting them) as the block easily (i can see this would be true by the amount of crap that covered me).

so whats the deal: Removed? never fitted?

can i put a new filter housing on?

my question is how do I access the filter on a MK2 Brava?? Never done this before, if there are some pictures or process description please let me know.

Re: Re: Brava cabin air filter

on my Brava there is a plastic panel about 2 foot long below the passenger wiper. lift the bonnet and remove the 2 small screws holding it in place and hey presto: the place where the filter is SUPPOSED to fit.

Re: Re: Re: Brava cabin air filter

thank you for your information, I was informed on the last visit of a Fiat dealer that the filter will need to be changed quite soon. I made about 20k kms so time to get it changed. To answer a bit of your question, all MK2 Bravas I've seen were fitted a filter.

can anyone with a parts CD tell me if the filter housing (or what ever it is) has a part number?

Thanks

Dill.
