Eh???? Can you post a pic (assuming you have a digi camera).

Its not usual for manifolds to crack.

Anyway, its cast iron and usually shatters when welded.

Could be a blown gasket and nothing else! Watch out where you get advice from. Silencer repairers could direct you into the wrong direction and make you buy another manifold from them which could eaily cost 150pounds.
And by the way, if its cracked it could easily be welded in five minutes.

You ever tried welding cast iron? Trust me, its a black art and most of the time it breaks even more.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Bravo Exhaust Manifold Help

I watched a guy welding a manifold for a friend. It had been pre-heated as required, he was about halfway down the crack and there was a PING! and the manifold was in 2 bits. I could not help but laugh.

Hmm.. I wonder if I could make my own stainless manifold? I've got a big bastard tube bender...

Sounds like you will be launching yet another product on the market to compliment your air intake kits.

That should be a little trickier to make a motor bike manifold for a car. I mean, will the manifold be coming out to the side of the car, just like half a V engine?
