Hi, I'm new here, and I've been checking out a used Bravo. I wanted to hear you opinion... I got some recommendations regarding the Bravo.

I'm looking for a small, yet automatic car.
I found a Bravo 1600sx. Its make is year 2000. I tested it tonight and I liked it in general, but someone told me that this model has some general electric problems. Is this true??? Like I said, most people recommended it.

p.s.
My other choices were a Ford Fiesta and a Daihatsu Charade. The Fiesta is not automatic and the Charade is too expensive (2000 make costs 20% more that the Bravo I went to visit). I don't know how the Bravo compares to the two above... do you have any opinions?

thanks.

The Bravo is an Italian car, they have nearly as many electrical probs as good old '70s british cars. :) The only electrical prob I've had is a blown numberplate light.

The only prob with the 1.6 is that the injectors are somewhat fragile BUT the design was changed sometime around 2000 so you might be lucky.

Other than that my 1.6 has never let me down. (ok, I had a dead battery at 65k and a dead thermostat at 69k)

Personally I hate autos but people say the Fiat one is not that bad. The 1.6 does like to be revved and comes on song about 4k.
