whenever i come to slow down there is a weird clicking noise from the left hand side of the engine it happens nearly everytime i come to slow down.
has anyone got any ideas?
it is a 1.4 sx 97 model

Sure its coming from the engine and not one of the front wheels? Sounds like it could be wheel bearing or front ball joint.

i think i have a ball joint nearly gone so you could be right cheers. any idea where i can get hold of a ball joint because i think you can only get the full swing arm?

have you got plastic wheel trims with cable ties on? cut the ties off, that should stop the clicking. i had that. the cable ties were hitting the caliper
