iv failed my MOT on
"nearside headlamp aim low" amd
"offside headlamp aim low"
now iv ajustded the lights so they are the same level BUT, my passenger side headlight has a crack in it and a small hole,i presume this is why i failed? so i think i am going to have to replace the headlight.

what i am wondering is, seen as i might have to replace one light should i just go all the way and get the marea lights? how much should i look to pay and how long should i expect to have to wiat for a pair?

go and buy the marea pods and stick em in. i have got a section on niges bravo guide that details all info on the conversion.

tony is right. the marea pods are a hell of a lot better than the bravo ones, i can see nicely now ive got em in. definatley reccomend them, plus they look a lot cooler than the bravo jobbies.

minirob, yeah it matters what model marea, you need anything except an sx, i think its either hlx or elx, or both, basically, look at the lights, the ones you need have round ball thingys (poly-eliptical)

however, even if you get normal marea headlights they'll be better coz they haven't got all the lines on the lens.

think that about covers it.

ps, if you ask a fiat dealer, they'll tell you that the marea pods wont fit, this is because the marea uses the same wings as a hgt bravo (slihtly flared), and if a part isn't stamped "this car will fit.........." we all know the monkeys at fiat can't figure things out for themselves.

I'm on my second bravo (gluten for punishment), i wanted to do this mod to my previous 1.4 sx (fuel economy, where?) but was put off by a dealer, useless tw@ts.

Have a 2001 Marea W.E. SX and just changed lights to poly type "ELX/HLX". Really not sure if any better than basic Marea pods. Light cut off severe, but hey they look good.

the guy in the parts bit at my dealer in swindon told me they would be a straight swap! went and got one of each and said the connections looked identical!
