Have just swopped my Marea for a Brava and am having trouble with the stereo. Its got the Grundig 6 CD changer and played about 3 secs of a CD before going silent. The display shows that the CDs are playing, but theres no sound and it won't change mode to either the radio or tape. Sure its bound to be something simple (yes, have checked the vol and its not on mute!) but its got me baffled and i'm fed up driving without music! Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Had a similar prob with my old cd changer in my Vectra and it turned out to be some dirt on the laser.
You can buy a cleaning kit from morst Audio shops,I used one from a company called ALLSOP or ALSOPP it woked a treat.
Try that first and see how u go,hope its of some help

Have you tried unplugging the CD changer to see what that does? It may let you use the radio as the changer will no longer be found.
