I have seen of ebay a device for closing your electric windows when the remote locking is activated.

Has anyone seen these, know where i can find one, and are they easy to fit?

As i remember it wasnt very expensive.

Electric Windows Total close module

I found the old sale on ebay, here is the description, it only made £15 :

This is a module that will close your electric windows when arming your alarm Alarm must have a negitive out wire when armed.Windows must be negitive at rest

This is brand new in the box never been fitted, Comes with fitting instructions.

So if you want your windows to go up when arming your alarm, this is what you need.

This would normally retail at around 35 pounds

Happy Bidding

Windows

I got a window rollup kit on mine, but the windows stop sometimes halfway up - a common problem on Bravos. If they stick when you pull them up I wouldn't bother, they're even more likely to stick when the engines turned off.
I had it fitted to my last car and it worked great, but not with the bravos sticky windows.

Electric window module

Hi Dill, Finally got round to creating an account on here,
Thanks again for the email re: parts

That add was one of mine and they are straight forward to wire up the only delay will be getting two wires through the drivers side door grommit.

If you need any more info just ask.

As for the sticky windows try spraying pledge or black to black or something with silicon down the window channel that will sort them out, They cut out if there is too much resistance is for safety reasons as it could be a childs arm or head.

Paul :)

Re: Electric window module

I assumed they would cut out if they found something resisting them, i.e. my arm, so i tested it.
If i left it alone i think i would have been driving one of those light blue (why always that colour?) invalid cars. The window on my Brava wasn't gonna stop for anything, my arm, a child's neck, ANYTHING until I stopped it.

Where do I get one of these window closing modules as the sale on Ebay finished ages ago?

Dill.

Re: Windows cutting out or your arm off

I ment your window would cut out if you had one of the window lift interfaces connected to your alarm and their was too much resistance when closing them.

Good job you used your head and tried your arm first. :)

First you need to find if you have an output wire from your alarm, This normally goes to ground when you arm your alarm, Then drops out when you disarm.
Or you may have a total closure output on the alarm which gives a timed output on a certain wire.
You can find this out with a multi-meter.

Try halfords or a local alarm dealer or accessorie shop. I'll have a look but don't think I have anymore.
