I have a Marea with an AD182H# with CD changer (Grundig) and want to make a connection with an external MP3 player. Does anyone knows what's the best way to do this?
Thx.

only choice you have

as far as i know is to buy one of those casstte adapters for the mp3 player i dont think there is a phono adapter for the grundig gear. im using a kenwood headunit and you can get an adapter cable to use the cd-changer socket as an external phono input. its not as simple as a couple of the wires connected to it either, there is a box of electrical gubbins on the cable as well.

hope this helps.

Pity

Thanks for tyhe suggestion. I had hoped it might be possible to use a couple of the wires to connect to a phone jack to connect it to the player. I understand that that is not possible.

Re: Pity

I've just fitted a Sony CDX-T69 CD changer to my standard head unit, and it works great.

The Sony web site also mentions about adapters you can buy to fit one of their mini disk players to the standard head unit too.

Surf on the sony.co.uk web site.

The company that made my adapter also have a web site. Take a look at

http://www.connects2.co.uk

They say that part number MFAS007 is suitable for a mini disk player (Sony).

See what you think.
