97 brava 1.6 sx starting probs

I have difficulty starting my car in extreme wet/windy conditions. Have read this could be due to lambda sensor. Have also read that lambda sensor is not used during cold starts. The problem only occurs when the weather is very wet AND windy. Any advice would be appreciated.

Forget to say, this only happens when the engine is cold. Once it starts (eventually!!!) it runs fine. Thanks for any help.

Re: Facing

Yeah, I think it was facing the wind. Still, its a modern car, and this sort of thing should not be happening....it can be a bit annoying when its hammering down and blowing a gale when your car won't start...
