Hello all,

I've bought a Fiat Bravo 80 SX from 1999.Now I want to install an alarm in it, but I don't have the wiring diagrams of this car, can anybody help me out here or tell me where I can get one online.

Thanks

alarmed

Hi
All depends on the alarm you want to fit.
I have just installed a Microscan AN312 Talking alarm
with a dual zone microwave, it works a treat, the instructions that came with the alarm were excellent,
the Haynes manual was no help at at all, so really
you dont need a wiring diagram, i didn't and the alarm
works perfect.

I have been looking at the Microscan AN312 for my Bravo. However after speaking to a mate they advised me to stay well clear as they're apparently cheap and tacky, and sometimes very annoying when they keep talking away! But I want something that will push people away before they're able to smash my windows or whatever, so this sounded like a great idea to me.

Was it really that easy to fit, and how would you rate it mate?

Cheers

Microscan

Hi
Yes very easy to fit, i rate them very highly, the microwave sensor is brilliant, go any where within a few feet of the car and you get a message saying " protected by security system, stand back" this is before any one has even touched the car so you know it has a alarm system fitted, this can be turned off if need be, so no it is not talking all the time to itself, i've recently taken this out of my escort and have never had any false alarms, and its good to see people walking past the car and looking round as it talks to them. Cheap and tacky , no its not
it is a very good alarm system for the money, the multi tone siren is a must.
Hope this helps
