Hi Guys,

I am colour coding my mirrors and at the same time getting rid of those fecking bubbly bits on the backing plates!! (they have pi@@ed me off for ages)

Anyway, I have removed the 3 screws and the mirror is loose, however it is attached by 3 springs which shift the position of the mirror.

Anyone know how to disconnect these springs and the mirror completely (and reconnect them easily) so I can spray more evenly and indoors out of this bloody wet summer rain!

P.S. the mirror is manual (1.4 SX)

Yeah the little shits round where I live have discovered that baseball bats r the quickest way of Fiat Wingmirror removal, Foned Fiat to find cost of replacement 140 bloody quid each!!!

Wing Mirror Removal

The 3 springs are attached to the knob used to adjust
the position of the mirror glass(manual adjustment)
It will just pass through the hole in the door(may
be hidden behind the rubber seal)
