Hello, my bestest buddy..grovel grovel
I have just spoken to direct line, the insurance company of the woma who hit my car and they are now saying that they are allowed by law, a period of up to three months to talk with there client before deciding wether or not to pay out. Is this right?
The woman on the phone near enough admiteed that the driver just wasnt responding at all......this just sucks...........

p.s. this is another milkshake I owe you

cheers

Direct Line Claim

Life sucks, bud....

Bad news - yes they can take 3 months to decide by law and there is nothing you can do in the interim. Even if you lodge it in court, they still have to abide by the 3 months notice.

However, if it is a small claim then payment is usually made straight after this time. If you are being waylaid then I would recommend you get in touch with our Claims manager who can sort it pronto for you. This means a wait but will mean a bigger claim. The longer you wait, the bigger the claim.

Bit like going down really, the more you go down, the longer it gets...

Sorry, wrong thread.

Lemme know how you fair.

Sam
