Hiya, i am interested in your car but will have to sell mine first. Why are you getting rid? Is it even still for sale!

i forgot to ask (as the previous title suggests) does it have ABS? It seems you have had a few problems with the car... clutch.. exhaust... etc.

Is it in immaculate condition, as i am looking for a bravo in A1 condition (no stone chips or marks)

Yes the car does have ABS - it comes as standard on the HLX.

It is still for sale and though I wouldn't say it was in showroom condition (it is 5 years old when all said and done!) it is still a very nice example.

The reason I am getting rid is that I have ordered a new Mini and I thought I'd try to sell the car privately first before giving it in part-ex.

What sort of car do you have and how long do you think it will take you to sell it?

I've had confirmation that my Mini has gone into production, according to the dealer I should expect delivery within the next 2-3 weeks.

If I haven't sold the car by then I will unfortunatey have to part exchange it.

i have a 1.6 sx 1998 model. I was thinking of advertising it for around about £3400 so i could probably be shut of it within that time frame.

Tho to be honest your car is on the bottom end of my price scale, i would probably spend a bit more to get a newer one.

I will have a think and a look around anyway, leeds is only a 25 minute drive from me. If you dont mind saying, what have they offered u in part ex?

I haven't been offered a definitive figure by the Mini dealer as yet. When I made a tentative enquiry I was told between £3000 and £3500. That was a wee while ago, but I'd expect about £3000.

If Leeds is only a 25 minute drive - you can always have a look for nothing, if it's not what you're after then so be it.

Does yours have the roof tip spoiler? Apparently some hlx's do and some dont, and the ones with the spoiler also have sports trim whatever that is.
