I went to my local dealers and got a set of rear pads as mine had started squealing as if they were down to the metal.
So I take the caliper off, this is easy peasy, you undo two bolts and then gently tap the caliper housing from the front and the caliper slides off rearwards.
So I get out my 'g' clamp and no matter how hard I try I can't get the flippin piston back in.
I then pop down to Halfords and the BravO/A manual from Haynes does not cover rear disks :( Luckily they have another kind of manual so I take the plasic cover off, have a scan through the book and you have to rotate the piston to get it back in.
I go home and I find a huge open ended spanner and start spinning the piston, and the git will not go back in. So (this is now 2 hours on one caliper) I ring up Halfords and they say, yes you need a special tool that presses it in and twists it at the same time !! Great have you got one, NO :(
So I look in the yellow pages and phone up the local car spares type of place, and they have one :) I go down and lighten my wallet by £21. The bloody thing does not fit Fiats, the small side is too small, and the big side is fractionally too big !!! Luckily the big side just about does the job.
So after taking 2 hours to do one caliper I do the other side in 15 minutes, literally, including jacking the car up, taking the wheel off, removing the caliper and putting new pads in and putting it all back together took 15 minutes. What an easy job if you have the right tools !!!!

Oh Dear.....

Feel sorry for you, it really gets you frustrated when you havent got the right tools. I am lucky as I have a huge array of tools, and have free access to a piston compressor that is required for this job!
