Ok, I know that the Coupe turbo front brake discs and pads are the same as the ones on my HGT, but i think they use bigger calipers on the coupe?

can anyone clear this up?

If they do use bigger calipers can i fit them to my HGT?

not sure

I'm not sure about this, but is the size of the caliper important? The size of the brake pad would seem to be the important factor (unless you're talking about a caliper with an extra pot).

You could go to your local dealer, and ask to look at the pads for the HGT and the Coupe? I'm sure they'd oblige, and this will give you an idea of any differences that may exist.

Brakes

I know for a fact that the pads and discs are the same size, but i think the coupe has an extra 'pot' caliper. Just wondered if anyone could clear this up?

Re: Brakes

I'm keen to know aswell - have been advised by a Fiat mechanic that the HGT discs are **** and all after market ones are not brilliant either. Basically the car is so heavy that bigger brakes is the way to go. And keen to fit Coupe brakes to my car. Let me know how it goes. Am on my second set of Red Dots - and they aren't brilliant.

Coupe brakes

My coupe has pads that are listed for the HGT so I guess they are the same (it's a 16VT) and no, they don't have an extra 'pot', just the normal one. It's the Brembo's on the later 20VT le's that have 4 pots.
And the brakes are crap on my coupe as well so i wouldn't bother mate.
