has anyone had any trouble with this part, i have a scraping noise from under the top left hand side of the timming cover, and fiat have told me that it is probably the variator as the cam belt and tensioners have been replaced (why they didn't replace the variator as well is another question!) has anyone had any similar problems before i go to the trouble and cost of having it replaced?
