Ive been offered a 98 S Reg HGT by my local Fiat Garage but its got 61000 miles on it and there asking for £6000, i dont really want to pay this much as i think its over priced, am i wrong and if not how much should i pay for it.
Apparently (though im not 100% sure) its got FSH andd the cambelt change so that helps.

Also another question, its in Sinfonia blue, which as far as i know is the very pale blue, the thing is i thought they only did the lower models in that colour as ive never seen a HGT in it. Could they be getting the colour wrong??

All help appreciated :)

Blue colour

The colour you might be thinking of is Sassi Grey, which isn't very grey at all, it's more of an iridescent blue, you know the type that slightly changes shade depending on what way the light falls on it or from what angle you look at it, it's actually a very nice colour, plus as far as I know it's not limited to the lower models. Now here's where it gets confusing, Sinfonia Blue is more of a grey colour than Sassi Grey. It's a sort of slate-ish grey. I think the proper name for it is Symphony Blue, Sinfonia is the Italian word (some foreign word anyway) for symphony.

Blues

If it's a mark 1 HGT, it's Zenith Blue

If it's a Mk2 (155 HGT), then it's Ischia Blue, Sassi Grey or could well be sinfonia blue.

Blue / Gray

You could be right, the thing is the guy at the garage says its Sinfonia blue, now i know that he nor i have seen the car so wether its his mistake or its on the computer wrong or somebody somewhere got it wrong then the car is sinfonia blue, i just thought they didnt do HGT's in that colour!

blues again

Hi Steve

The MK2 155 HGT is available in sinfonia blue according to the brochure. No Mk1s were ever in this colour.

FYI, there is a pic attached with the different blues.

hope this helps,

The HGT's were available in ALL colours

When I was choosing I looked at all the colours and whittled the choice down the Heraldic Blue (dark Metallic), Black or Red, in the end the missus said it's Italian and Italian car's HAVE got to be red, so she who must be obeyed was !!!
As for the price I would have thought that £5,500-£5750 would be a more reasonable price, but it's adealer and they don't go with convention when they are selling a car :(
