Ive got a S reg Bravo S which sometimes seems to loose power in all gears and feels like a stall - but i might be doing 70mph at this point. It has happened 7/8 times since i got it about 5 months ago. I imagine its a fuel system problem. Has anyone else had this and know what the problem is and any cheap fixes?

Possibly ignition system problem

I only say this because my friend's Mazda is in the garage today having the exact same problem fixed. Hope this helps.

Lamda/Oxygen sensor causing stuttering & loss of power

The result of a diagnostic at a local non fiat specialist is that the lamda sensor was causing the stuttering and loss of power. The fault code has been removed and hopefully the car should be fine now. If it is then its £35 well spent. The chap at the garage did say it might be worth replacing the lamda sensor to be sure and if i did, to use a standard Bosch one since they are half the price of the Fiat supplied ones.
