Shell have just launched a new performance fuel to replace Super Unleaded - Optimax. They claim it is revolutionary with over 98 Octane and gives much improved performance. Has anyone tried it yet???

Formula Shell

Anyone remember Formula Shell in the late 80's? I remember I put a sun visor strip with it on, on my Mothers company car much to her annoyance!

Mainly though I also remember it was take off the market because it destroyed Vauxhall heads, so I will be a bit cautious of this until it has been around for a while.

I am using it in my Motorbike....

And it is good, the pick up is smoother, I can snap the throttle open and she's off no hesitancy. Cost's the same as other peep's Super.

Cheers Martin, I will try it. Super Unleaded makes the car quite a bit quicker so this should be better still.
