I have a Bravo Formula. Although the stereo looks attractive enough, the sound could be better. Does anyone recommend what other face unit can be used, replacement speakers, and if it is possible to get a face unit to fit around a new box so it still blends into the dash?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Also will it affect the warranty? I presume it will.

Hi there.

As for the Head unit. Rip it out. Autoleads (www.autoleads.co.uk) do a replacement facia unit, which is £14.99.

Front speakers - 5 1/4" units. If you want good speakers I can highly recommend a company called CarAudioDirect.com, they are Based in Oxford and have an amazing following and reputation.

email [email protected].

Fronts - MB Quarts 5 1/4" Components. about £90.

Rears - Leave Factories in.

Sub/Amp - depending on what you want, Pioneer do an excellent 4 channel amp, which is simple in appearance, but powerful to run a whole system.

I think its one of the GMX series (4x100w)

If there is anything you want help with, feel free to email me.

Dont forget to budget for sound-deadening (NOT THE COMMERCIAL STUFF LIKE DYNAMAT) and good quality cabling and fusing etc.

And as for the warranty..... It'llvoid the warranty on the Fiat head unit.... but seeing as its out of the car who cares! Fiat themselves supply replacement audio equipment, albeit horrible stuff and vasty overpriced..... (add your own joke here)
