I like a lot of you love Alfa's. the new 147 is gorgeous and deep down i really want one but I'm waiting to either :
see the new Bravo in the flesh or get a 147 cloverleaf when it comes out.The trouble with the 147 is that it is so like the current Bravo its unbelievable.Look at the back view or rear three quarter view its pure bravo.Although a bit newer.
it's a waste of money for just a few tweaks.The Bravo is much the better value car.

Alfa 147 - a bit expensive

The Alfa Romeo 147 is an amazing car...

the exterior is like a mix between a Bravo and an Alfa Romeo 156, and the interior is much better than Bravo's.

But here, in Argentina, an Alfa will be at U$S 30,000
and the Bravo is $20,000

50% more money, is a better car, but too expensive!

And I disagree with the engine... 150hp against 172hp of the Renault Clio, or 180 or 204hp of the Seat Leon.

And I want a Quadrifoglio with manual gearbox!

the 147 is absolutely stunning.there are rumours that fiat may even choose to drop the turbo from the coupe in,any body else heard this?? also there is the possibility of the 2.5 v6 for the gran turismo allegerita model that should be out next year .this will be more of A CONTENDER FOR THE PERFORMANCE CROWN OF THE OTHER VEHICLES MENTIONED, LOOK AT THE 147 SELESPEED AS A DIRECT CONTANDER FOR THE AUDI A3, SEE WHAT SORT OF SPEC YOU GET FOR THE SAME MONEY,
BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE IF THE NEW BRAVO USES THIS PLATFORM, IT WILL BE A GREAT DERIVE.

Bravo and 147

i STILL think the Bravo when seen from behind beats it.

ALFA147=NEW BRAVO

In my opion the new ALFA 147 is the new BRAVO. Some stupid change within the fiat group. I think fiat with the new BRAVO is trying to get new custumors in a different market section ( more the type of car byer who's interested in the new Citroen ). Fiat wants the 'Old' BRAVO byer to switch to ALFA, which we all know has a more stylish group of byers.
