I have a Marea TD125 HLX.
This is essentially identical to a brava but bigger.

one of the integral front fog lamps has smashed and i have got a second hand replacement. I have undone the only retaining screw I can see in the cowling but it will not move so I presume it must be fixed elsewhere.
Any ideas?
also the courtesy light dosnt come on when drivers door opened. I believe the switch is inside the door closer mechanism. Is this true and if so how can i inspect/ repair it.
I have been to 3 motorist shops and cant get a haynes manual for my model so any help would be apreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

Interior lamp

mmm My interior lamp failed after 10 months on my Bravo......it turned out to be something to do with the overhead unit...it all had to be replaced cost nearly £200 :( Luckily it got done under warranty :)
I asked why it was so expensive and they said it is all one unit, sunroof switch, light switches and unltrasonic's for the alarm !

As for the Fog lamps, I believe that there are a couple of brackets at the back of the bumper and once they are undone it should come out.
What you could do is go to a dealers and ask the parts / service dept how to do it, they are 'normally' helpfull

interior lamp

Thanks for that Martin
but my fault is only that the lamp dosnt come on when the drivers door is opened
all other doors are ok
and the door open indicator on the dashboard works on all doors except drivers.
was yours a similar fault?
also i know a breakers yard where i can get the control unit if needed from a damaed 98 car, am i right in thinking its the unit in the front centre of the roof with the switches and ultrasonics in?
Thanks again

Mine was done under warranty

If I remember rightly, as it was two years ago now, it was all doors that did not operate the light, but I am not 100 % about this. The switch is located inside the door jam at the front wing, I think it is easily taken out, but again not 100% sure.
The Interior light's still worked off the switch.
