The first FIATForum meeting has now been officially announced and will be held at the Cinema/Bowling/Drinking complex just off Junction 2 of the M6 on Saturday the 1st March at about 16:00.

There's a Holiday Inn there too, so those of you who want to drink, will be able to stay over (me included!) - possible share rooms to keep costs down?

rite heres the gen.....ive booked a holiday and given them 4 choices of a date so im awaiting confirmation this week..the dates are : 28th feb, march 7th, March 14th, March 21st or April 4th...it will be one weekend out of these dates so until i find out this week you mite as well go with the majority ) ive had a look at the prices for the Holiday Inn...not cheap (

I have stayed at the Ansty Hall Country House Hotel, which is just the other side of the junction. A snip at a mere £175 a night...
I do warn though that the bar at this place is just the usual bowling alley bar i.e. really crap. There is a travel lodge about 5 miles away, just down the A46 at Binley (next door to TGI's) Maybe worth going there for a meal in the evening and then walking next door to the travel lodge - Just an idea?

erm, hoilday inn rooms are showing for £45 per room per night sleeping 2 people, so ummm (i was crap at maths ) thats 22.50 each... blimey you must be a low earner []

Ben the Travel Inn is £42.95 for the room. Not only is there TGI's next to it, its opposite The Crocked Hat pub, and Morrisons for breakfast. What I was suggesting was maybe meet up at the J2 plcae then convoy it down to the TGI car park, have an evening meal followed by a **** up n the crocked hat (the roseycombe is just up the road is its crap in the crocked) then waddle back over the road to the travel Lodge. I wont be staying probably as I only live 15 mins down the road, so its up to you lot, just giving you a run down on what is easy and available.
